Video Submission Guidelines for UKSMF 2026–2027

A practical checklist for a valid, accessible adjudication video.

Submit one continuous, unedited recording made specifically for this UKSMF entry.
The recording must clearly show the entrant or all registered Team performers throughout the performance.
Faces, hands, instruments and relevant performance movements must be visible, where appropriate.
Record in landscape orientation in a quiet, well-lit location.
Use 1080p resolution. A 4K recording is not required.
Audio and video editing, splicing, enhancement, substitution or other manipulation is not permitted.
AI-generated or digitally altered performances will not be accepted.
Upload the recording to YouTube, Google Drive, Vimeo or another suitable online platform.
The link must be set to Unlisted or view-only and must open and play directly.
The link must not require sign-in, an access request or a file download.
Submit a clear and legible copy of the musical score. If no score is provided, the adjudicator will assess only what can be heard in the recording.
The video link must remain accessible to UKSMF and its adjudicators until 30 April 2027.
