Prizes & Awards
Your performance.
Your achievement.

Achievement, not rivalry.

Entrants do not compete against one another. Each performance is assessed on its own merits against the judging criteria for the chosen category and level.

If your performance reaches the required mark, you receive the corresponding award. Awards are determined by the score achieved, not by a ranking against other participants.

01 · Recognising progress

The score determines
the award.

Our aim is to help students challenge themselves, develop confidence and learn from their peers. Every performance is an opportunity for musical growth.

02 · Student recognition

What entrants receive

Gold, Silver and Bronze achievements are recognised with a Solo medal or Team trophy, according to the mark achieved. Certificates and an adjudicator’s commentary sheet recognise achievement and support further development.

The commentary sheet helps entrants understand their strengths and areas for improvement, so the value of taking part continues beyond the performance.

03 · New for 2026–2027

Recognising the people
behind the performance.

Our Distinguished awards recognise the teachers, conductors and tutors who support Gold Award achievements.
